Can grumpy old women come too please? If so, you'll find me wandering aimlessly, looking for where the real ale tent is (usually miles away and really really small) having queued for ages at the beer tent amongst all the youngsters looking at their phones, only to find that despite being called a beer tent, it only actually sells lager and cider.

May we have a quiet corner to sit and listen to these words of wisdom from Pam.

  7. He is rather tiresome. Why not just shoot yourself, Bill? Give the rest of us a break.

  8. A queue room
Stand in queue and whinge about it to the bloke in front of you

  9. ...who's pushing in. The worst social offence you can commit.

  10. Can you bring your whippet with you and drink warm dark beer...remember the bar shuts at 10.30 and they wont have any pork scratchings....

It has a Brexit and a Remoan area of the bar with different prices for the same drinks.

You get served by rude skinheads and somewhat deaf pensioners in the Brexit area and rude Europeans who pretend not to understand you in the Remoan area.

Both get your orders wrong and give you the wrong change.

Outside the bar is the local event organiser who will moan about his absent business partner who wants this to be a concours car show not a GrumpFest. ( some TLBers may remember this from DubFreeze, at least those of us who were pinned down for ages.).

With you totally. He is good for half a song and then it dawns on you, he is just a plastic punk paying lip service to things he obviously hasn't had to deal with in his life.

I may be wrong, but I have always thought that about him.

  13. As a general rule, folk who tell you how you should be living your life are best avoided...

  14. We welcome grumpy ladies. Would be good if you could fan yourself from time to time and say "Does anyone think it's hot in here?"

  15. That’s fine... I shall be in the billy Bragg tent on my own with him then!

I’ve never had to deal with homophobia, racism or being a Tory but I know I’m against them!

I'll probably have a moan about young Jocasta and all her friends, who will no doubt push in and stand right in front of me whilst I'm watching Billy Bragg, and then spend the evening taking selfies of themselves and talking about their snapchat stories. I will occasionally bash them round the head accidentally whilst clapping enthusiastically, because I'm old and no longer in complete control of my faculties.

…. I'm actually beginning to look forward to GrumpFest now!

He's probably a very nice man Lis, but not for my taste I'm afraid.

  20. Don’t know the fella but his politics are spot on!

He does seem to come across as a nice chap and his passion for the cause is definitely real.
