  3. @RM92 Excellent job, I thought I'd done well sorting my windscreen washers today Must admit it does make me rather nervous to poke about the wax oil under my van. Who knows what terrors lurk beneath. Keep up the good work.

  4. Thanks @mistermil, thats a job on the list when shes back up right! leaks like a siv through em! personally id recomened it to anyone, i rolled it over to do about 2ft section of chasis repair and one jacking pint replacement.

Ended up replacing all jacking points and outriggers, inner sills and strengtheners, all the chasis from the rear torsion tube back, the inner and outer rear valance, both D posts cut out and repaired..

and i have the front deformation panel, front arches, front cab floor, rear corners, battery trays, engine side panels and rear arches/tubs to still do when shes upright...

Guess she'll be solid when im done!

  5. You have learnt a lot during this process...

It won't be falling apart now with all that welding..

  13. looking good, dont forget to put the shift rod in with new bushes before you put it the right way up. will be much easier while it is on its side

  14. Thanks :) do the bushes just act as spacers within the tube?

  15. Great progress, despite the weather!

  17. Will do thanks! :)

  18. So another job tucked away. Cut away the horrid brittle loom insulation and to my Suprise I can't believe how such a brilliant condition the wiring is in after 38 years, obviously no reason why it should be bad but still.... Great condition! Re insulated with black flexible conduit. image.jpg image.jpg

  19. I completely agree with the roll over. It makes it so much easier to work on the underside. You list looks almost exactly the same as what we found! Now we only have the he front deformation panel, front panel, front arches, front cab floor, rear corners, battery trays, engine side panels and rear arches/tubs to still do when shes upright...
