So gearbox is coming out this weekend for a refurb, any recommendations on any tools required, stuff to replace once I've got it out, and general points to look for? Only thing I know atm is the earthstrap is non existent! And will my life be easier if I put the box and engine all backin as a One'r?

Gearbox! Next challenge! Before and after cleaning! And the plug, which had a wipe off before I took the photo! It looked like it had an Afro of metal shards before I cleaned it! After a wire brush!
The gearbox is finished, after discovering why my gear change was quite custardy, below is a picture why! Just bought a box full of goodies from jk. 2 new driveshafts with joints, urethane couplings, bush set for the shift rod amongst other things. And some discounted oil from GSF with the 35% offer! How do they make a profit!
Had the engine back in and running, she doesn't miss a beat and on a side note put in some temporary gauges (until I can do them proper) to check my pressure temp and voltage. All seems happy! Bring on good Friday as she is being prepped and rolled!

Day 1. Engine out, gearbox out, bumper off and look at the pile of rust that came away with it! Tommorow tank out and ROLLOVER!
it went quite well ... got the frame attached .. gave her a little lift .. with some jacks.. then with a bit of brute force we lifted her over.. job done ...
Day 3 and the first day of scraping away the inch of underseal to reveal what my pocket money will now go on this evening. Outriggers, jacking points and chassis rails!
