a couple of old pics of the new engine bay repair work - The aim is to satin black the inside of the body panels all of the tubs and chassis to be painted in body colour - the motor tin ware will be charcoal grey and the motor will be shiny and dressed up Lots more to do on this and its very time consuming - a real good thing the motor i had running on and off for about 45 mins - It will do to get her on the road until i can build the 1776 motor

All the engine bay fabrication is all complete all welded - just a nice fettle and blend in seam seal and paint nice little trick bit with a hub cap - back to work now - i will shoot some pics when i have fettled it all - A milestone no more steel fabrication - Dale
the pics will be a few days sorry if i had my way i would work all night the the neighbours may get the hump not that i care but the wife will moan at me
A bit more done the engine bay is now all in primer battery holder made - Just needs a bit of yellow then andother tick off the list Getting there

Thanks for the comments she is getting there I also brought real cheap a A post search light that was damaged I have straightend it out now i also made a yellow domed lense for it it will look mint on her painted and pinstriped might see if i can find another one for the passenger side = yellow headlamps and yellow search lights OLD SKOOL BABY

Thanks Dale it still needs a little tidy up - i have the motor on the engine stand trying to strip it the tin ware is driving me nuts - The old motor is going back in all dressed up as its ok - whats the news with your van ??
very little progress on mine ......just waiting on the spray shop to take it in.....but they have been saying they will for the last month still got lots of bits I should be doing though ;D It's great to see yours comming together, I was just posting on bodyrocks thread that I had a couple of months off to get my house extension done and its taken me ages to catch up with all the resto updates ;D .............but I really want to see more pics, especially your headliner and the engine bay in paint
