Ok little update - not done much work has been mental 84 hrs in 6 days - so Gladys now has a scat shifter and a big big thanks to Princess rah rah for supplying it - She now sports a polished ally kick panel around the shaped rear seats than was not fun to make at all - The rocknRoll bed is all finished painted seat belts fitted - The petrol tank is also finish painted - need to check the sender or get a known working unit - The cab door handles are being a pain as i cant get them to work how i want them . Whats next - next week the cab windows will be tinted ticking that job off 0 on early shift this week may get a little done in the evenings Dale
Cool will soon be back together mate . Been working a fair bit ain't ya all I'd wan to do after that many hours is sleep

Little update - a bits n bobs day - Anti roll bar removed - Wiper arms prepped and painted and fitted - repaired indicator stalk prepped and painted and fitted - Skat shifter connected up - Engine removed and engine bay cleaned up needs a few little repairs - rear overider plates all made - rear lights all bolted in damm fiddly - the moon roof finishers started - Enough for one day I guess - still oh so much to do will it ever end Its not really that low she is part in the workshop and part out - but with no motor the rear has lifted a little
Lots more thinking i have made up my mind to have a wood finish headliner with polished ally bows and a custom rear roof locker - the foam is on its way just need cushion covers made i will try and match the jag seat colour
The windows where finished off today i think she looks sassy That is william my grandson and apprentice Off now for a few days going to fab up the rear bumper and do a bit more inside
I had a short day on the van today - The rear overiders are all fabricated and test fitted to the bumper a little prep and paint - The old motor will be fired tomorrow - If ok she will get a wash and brush up and back in as I intend to build a hot 1776 in the winter with a little bit of nos on on it - I have started the engine bay repairs and the custom fabrication work hope to get this all welded tomorrow very little to do just a big clean up- I have made up my mind she will now have a polished timber headliner same as the seat base - I have also built and fitted a rear overhead locker - Slow progress short of money but getting there
Money shortages fuel the imagination of the hot-rodder. If you gotta make it, make it different. Every cloud and all that.
