Children of the 70s - man have they f-----d up our heads?

I reckon they're taking a bit of a risk bringing the Wombles back considering what all the other stars of the era seem to have been like - I mean, who KNOWS what they got up to while "collecting rubbish"....

I can't remember who mentioned him earlier, but on the subject of Chris Tarrant, he seriously creeped me out when I was acquainted with him - my OH at the time was working as a safety stunt man on one of his show and I was introduced to Chris as my OH's long term girlfriend, and he still continually made me want to leave rooms rather than be near him when he talked to me.

It's hard to describe but he made me feel dirty and seedy and as if he felt he was entitled to be overly friendly to me without really actually ever touching me (I kept shifting out of reach!). I'm amazed he hasn't surfaced as part of yew tree or similar tbh, but looking back if he is innocent he must have thought me a freak the way I played musical chairs away from him when he was "just" trying to talk to me!
