Hi The 2ems, no probs , you asked some very valid questions, we all need the wisdom of others from time to time. There was no battery in the bus when we got it so had nothing to compare to. Are you just upgrading battery?

5 year warranty and its a big Bosch, go for it I say. do you know someone with a Halfords trade card as it may be cheaper than ebay or what not.
Hi, yes looked again and now think i'll order ( TONIGHT ) the Bosch s4 096, slightly cheaper at £70 but almost as much ampage (74ah)as the s5 with 77ah.....unless any of you shout noooooooooooo!!!! cheers

For Bosch Batteries try Costco, they were half the cost of Halfords - I paid £47 for a Silver 063 when it would've been £96 from the local Halfords... even a trade card wouldn't save that much
Hi Snotty, do you think the bosch s4 with the 4 year warranty and 74ah will be ok , it seemed to be the better option over the the 063.

hi again...been a while, cant get used to this new forum set up ..having real trouble getting photos uploaded. yep , finally fitted the battery and it went in perfectly and after all the delays , mess arounds and pi****** takers we got bertie running and mot'ed last August (late) so we are really looking forward to this year and hoping for better weather
