Going to clean it up and see how good the bottom end is(or at least the father in law is) then maybe send it your way to be improved!! It'd be nice to put the original engine back in one day especially with a few more horses. Also good to have 2 busses and 3 engines.

Did you lift the engine on your own? I can only just manage to lift a type one on my own onto the workbench
Not quite, slid it down a board out of the back of the van and dragged it to where I wanted it, nearly put me back out

As expected the other drum took precisely 4 minutes to remove Front discs off, calipers cleaned up and operating fine, all 4 bleed nipples came undone no problem! Tyres removed, question is what to do, wheels coated,buy alloys, buy new steels and tyres from Danbury? Thing is I'd then have to sell the tyres cos I want some similar to what was on, bit like Para's, decisions decisions

Refit original mechanism with a bit of a clean and some copaslip. Just need a new wheel stud then I can refit it all.
Ordered these tyres, Going to take a couple of weeks unfortunately but plenty to be getting on with Moved the shed at last, took advantage of my son being home from uni, even though he hates manual labour!
