Dude id love one Its not at the top of the list at the moment though and wont be for a long time When its time and ive the money available ill give you a shout for sure It will be based more on practicality than looks though Im thinking more along the lines of removable and washable covers in colours that dont show muck n mud up that bad Keep up the good work and the updates carl ive really enjoyed following this thread along
Might be able to swap you for some cylinder head polishing haha P.s might not be some updates for a while, too cold out lol.
First update in aaaaaages! Anyway I got my nice new brazillian bumpers a few months ago. And with a brass rubbing from @sANDYbAY I got the front bumper fitted today... Taped the template on.. Then hit the mark with a punch, drilled and fitted a mahoosive rivnut.. X4... And sha-ting...
My blood pressure went up as I was reading... Hit the centres with a punch.... Drilled four great big holes.... Fitted four mahoosive rivenuts Tense Tenser Tensererer Holding my breath..... and fitted my new Brazilian bumper Phew!!! Glad it worked.
Hope you never have any problems with the rivnuts working loose and spinning as you try and undo the bolts.
Also.. Welded the two tabs on either side of the valance area.. Got the outer valance on and welded the two holes in the rear corners up..
Yeah I thought about this. The top bolts should be ok as they're bent over a curve, but I might put a blob of weld either side of each rivnut just incase
Oh oh! You didn't fall for @sANDYbAY 's "wanna have a look at my brass rubbings?" line did you?? Could have been awkward!
A wise man, indeed! ps... I've said it before and I'll say it again... love the work you're doing in this bus!
It's no good getting jealous now, you had your chance to look at my etchings when you came round to borrow that diamante and mother of pearl handbag.
