Fitted a new JK stainless 4 into 1 manifold and quiet pack silencer to replace the rattly old exhaust. Loving the sound . Time for a beer

Not too bad, but it did need a bit of persuasion to line up the preheat flanges (mine was pre drilled so I didn't have to drill it). I fitted the manifold loosely then gradually pulled it all up. The bit I was not impressed with and I think I will have to change were the flexis from fan to heat exchangers, which were a bit feeble and awkward to get round the manifold top tubes. Also had a stud screw out of head but that would have happened whatever manifold I was fitting.

 

Unlike our Mondeo which decided to Marmite itself.
For all I know, it's still in St Ives whereas we are at home in Bristol as the AA have had to shell out a car hire for us and flat bed the blue oval pile of steaming dog egg back at some point this week.

The good news is they hired us a T5 to get home in....

The starter and alternator seem to have both packed up - something weird going on.

 

Lowered front end, just the back end too do hopefully the weekend

 

Started to clean the Techenders mud and grass cuttings out as we are going away in it to Dorset on Friday! We've had a lot of real life stuff to deal with so I've barely looked at the bus for a few weeks, we can't wait for Friday to come around
