Stone Roses at Alexandra Palace in 1989 then Bombay Bicycle Club with the last gig ever at Earls Court in 2014, with Dave Gilmour of Pink Floyd guesting on guitar. Need to get out more...kids eh!
I was lucky to see Whitesnake twice in the early 80s with Cloverdale, Marsden, Moody, Price, Lord. Much better than the current line up when I saw them in 2015.
Yeah that's the tour. Though Deaf Lep were good though. I quest from your avatar and 2112 that you are a Rush fan. Big shame that they won't be touring again.
IMO one of the best tracks Lord ever played on was lazy off made in Japan , really well supported by pace , worth a listen .
First time I saw Def Lep they headlined Loughborouhg town hall, with my student discount tickets were 70p
The First was UFO in 1979, Bristol Colston Hall. Last was Ruts DC / Stranglers at the O2 Bristol a couple of weeks back.
My first gig ever was Iron Maiden November 1990 at the tender age of 14. My last gig was a guns n roses tribute a couple of months ago. Going to see Maiden again next month though....
1st Hawkwind in 1987 at Leeds United after a 6 hour wake. 40 odd mile trip home in a Mk 1 Landy through the Dales. Jeez was rough the next Day! Last one probably New Model Army at Leeds O2,(wrong side of Pudsey.) Jeez was rough... Levellers fest Beautiful Days is tops BTW
Just thought last one may have been Sisters of Mercy or Fields of Nephlim. Jeez was rough the next day. Come to think of it could've been Adam Ant. Jeez was rough....
