i have been driving just under 2 years, no speeding but on christmas day i hit some ice and wrote my corsa off... No one was involed so just stripped and scraped.
It took me 4 tries to pass my driving test. On the 1st one I pulled out on a roundabout in front of a juggernaut. On the 2nd I hit a car. On the 3rd I knocked a woman off her bike. On the 4th the examiner said "oh god it's you again". Then he saw me after the above posted accident and said "Don't ever tell anyone it was me that passed you" I like to think I've improved in the 18 years since then. My husband and all the cars I've been through may disagree ;D
I couldn't possibly say but I once put my Citroen Visa in a ditch while trying to do a 3 point turn Also drove said car into a solid wall when I went to the pharmacy during a manflu episode. No damage to wall but pushed the bumper in on the Visa.
I've only been driving a little over a year and have an unblemish record - in terms of my license and insurance. I have hyperthetically scraped a wing mirror but there was no lasting damage.
i dont drive to bad its the bus that drives bad all i do is hold on tight & make sure it dont go offcourse all the time or follow the lorry tracks lol the joys of a lowered bus.
My most embarrassing event happened whilst i was attempting to bump start my lambretta. I basically pushed it at speed into the back of a parked van in front of ALL my mates. I took some serious ribbing for years over that.
Been driving casr 17 years and no points no crashes1 Mind you Im a realy steady Eddie in the car because when I was 17 my mate binned his carpri with me and my girlfriend in it. I flew from back seat out windscreen (no seet belts) and wa on the road when amb turned up (carnt remember aything!!) Girlriend in front seet where theimpact was had broken tibia fibia dna femur. Ended up being bolted back together bionic women stylee!! O0 O0 So it kindof put a drive steady thing in my head!! ;D
15 years on the road, and a colourful history, Mostly picked up when I was 17/18 and therefore somewhat invincible. I've paid enough in fines to have gone on a very nice holiday, Total of 18 points, made up of speeding, and 6 for no insurance. 6 month Ban after totting up 12 points, 1 fault accident - a 2mph bump at traffic lights 1 police chase, 1 damaged police car, charged with failing to stop, 2 non fault accidents 1 50/50 Accident, idiot in a Jag, side swiped me in a 2 way lane - as didnt want to go near the verge. Other offences, the minor ones, No Seatbelt, No Mot, No Tax, Driving a vehicle with defective brakes - No handbrake, No right turn, Yellow junction box, Lots of Parking tickets, Vehicle defect notices for non standard number plates, In the region of 40 producers. The offences that didnt hold up in Court, Dangerous Driving Careless Driving Driving without due care and attention, Have had a clean licence now for 2 years, and yes, I think I am a better driver than you
Been driving 21 years, never had any points but wrote 3 cars off in my first 12 months. First was about 6 hours after passing my test, road went sharp left, I went straight on, into a drainage ditch and farmers field (attempting to change tapes on the stereo!!) My Dad wasnt best pleased as we'd spent the previous 12 months renovating the car (Mk II Escort) 2nd car was my Mum and Dads during the couple of weeks I was without a car following episode 1 (hit by an uninsured driver on the beach - about an hour after promising NOT to drive anywhere near the beach) Got a REALLY warm welcome home after that one!! 3rd also involved an Escort and a farmers field. Rear wheel drive, muddy road, far more enthusiasm than skill, ended up on my roof in the field. That was February 1991 (passed my test April 1990) Have never had a bump since (think Im still too scared of what my Dad would say!!) I now drive as part of my job. The most accidents Ive caused in one day is 3 (no one hurt) and my record for being caught by speed cameras is 7 times in 8 hours. I regularly speed and if you saw me on the road, you'd want to get out of my way!! > That said, I am a paramedic! The accidents caused are always at traffic lights where 1 car sees me and stops, the one following doesnt and....... (we always stop and check everyone is ok though!)
After Krugers admission (the police chase intrigues me) I am wondering whether i should confess all about my 2 very brief stints in HMP due to driving offences in my late teens early 20's. 1st time 1wk in pentonville for not paying my fines (started at £200 but ended up at £800 once re-appearance costs were added due to my constant defaulting), 2nd time 2 wks in wandsworth for driving on a ban. All for driving a scooter or scooters with no license, tax, mot, insurance, crash helmet, grass skirt etc.

I have been driving for about 22 years.. and so far.. touch wood.. have not had a speeding ticket, been zapped by a camera, have any points on me licence.. BUT I have been stopped by police on a number of occasions; a couple times for not wearing a seat belt.. and once for talking on a mobile phone.. but they were really lovely guys and let me off each time
