Id forgotten about that. Thanks! Bring back the original thread so we can educate each other and work out what we were all doing when we let an ideology rip the heart from our great Nation. Its not about flags or profit. It about people but wed rather watch folk thrown into despair and laud the bastards that screwed with our families cos she was a great leader. Thatcher - good bloody riddance. Moderate that if you want to.
I've just seen Arthur Scargill on TV, saying how sad he is with the passing of our finest Prime Minister...thought he was dead too.
regardless of political views, i think some of you should be ashamed of the comments made. since when is it ok to take the ******* out of an 87 year dementia suffering old woman that died of a stroke? this is still someones mum/nan etc and she is dead so thats it over with. none of us knew her or met her and many wont remember her in office so is it really ok to speak ill of the dead? i fully expect a load of abuse for posting this but so what politics is politics and dubs are dubs but they dont mix
If I was a politician I would rather hope the reaction would be the same when I died - if you have some mourning and others dancing on your grave you know you made a difference.
you're welcome. it still strikes a chord every time i watch it - i remember the wave of feeling, the loss of hope and despair and will never forget. brass bands still make me cry (not because of the film ) i agree, and bloody well said. people matter, not profits nor property.
i also found that his politics were the right ones he was a political activist too and think he would've taken this role with great integrity.
She didn't care whose lives and communities she ruined did she? Or the lives lost in the phoney Argy Bargy electioneering? Come on man, get real.
