Agree with Zed.
Just watched your pilot video you sent in to beeb. I can see why you got the gig. Its very down to earth and excellent.
Im very bored with hearing about screaming teenagers and the xfactor etc and all those people that are totally into themselves and off this world.

The whole campervan culture is more down to earth and well... earthy in my opinion.
Its very refreshing to get something that is very nice and real like your program and wish I'd thought of it.

Martin your a star and deserve to be and for the best reasons that are not false.

Hi Martin.......is there a dvd coming out for your first series....and why no 2nd series!!?? :-

The series is available on itunes and is available on DVD in Oz (?). I really don't know why there's no second series. The first did really well. 1.95m viewers watched the last episode (according to the figures) which means more peole watched it than watched the simpsons that week. It's actually more peole than watched most stuff in that slot since. So go figure. I am conviced it's because big names get the gigs. Since it was on we've had Rick in a camper, jamie's been back in a camper and now I see Ade Edmonson is about to go round the Uk cooking out of a teardrop trailer. Again, go figure. Then again we've got big plans for a family trip next summer so, you know, not complaining. It won't stop me enjoying my van.

Ade Edmonson has already done a tour of France in a Danbury bay, a late late bay!! Didnt he do it with Rory Mcgrath (cant remember the series name but it was quite good), they followed Julian Clary & (what was her name)..she did a few Fifth Gears!

My first trip to France / Brittany in my Beetle when I was 17 we called the Brest or Bust tour. We weren't that ambitious.

Didnt see the Paddy/Rory thing myself, missed it for some reason!! The Monte Carlo one was quite good (bearing in mind they alwyas had time for a beer or glass of wine)!

I want to tour France sometime, or tour Loch Ness too
