Leathers 7 bells out of a cylinder that wouldn't move...
I won. .. good job it's case I want most
Started fitting my solar panels,
Remember to take the pistons off before you split the case or you'll be sorry.
I can two off but at the risk of setting @snotty off again... It's a bit stiff!.. Bit rusty in there somehow..wasn't expecting that with the amount of oil around was hoping once pots were off it would start spinning......
At least the stud extractor worked!
Small wins.. Last time I snapped the extractor too leaving a really hard bit in the middle of the broken stud!
installed cruise control into a mates VW T5. So simple.
@Woodster do you have cruise on your T4
@rickyrooo1 how about you ?
No i don't
It's the way forward
Agreed but while I still need interior etc it's a luxury
I have looked at it. The stalks are only about £80, we had it on the Beemer and it's on our new car and I never use it, I don't feel in control. Did you have to take the steering wheel off on the T5 coz you do on The T4 and that also puts me off
True but only about £130 for the kit as long as your bcm can take it
Yep wheel off to do both, very simple tbh. I've done a few T5's now and my old T4 caravelle
Bloody hell that means Iv'e gotta buy one now just coz I know you can fit it
Sorry, Body Control Module, think in yours its under the drivers seat
I didn't know until recently that you're not supposed to use cc in the rain, if you start to aquap!lane then it goes chicken oriental and may cause a crash.
I gave £602 to a VW dealer
Nowt under my drivers seat bar the seat belt warning thing, all the wires and relays were under the passenger seat (were.... Now hidden under the floor so seat can rotate)
Bad news Rick your bcm doesn't support cruise. So you can rest easy!! Or buy a new bcm as well as the cruise but more expense!!
So like I said rest easy!!! Lol
Bad news how? Don't miss what you never had #ihaveafootandeyes
It was meant tongue in cheek
