What decent meals have you cooked while camping ?

The kids favourite meal is chocolate tortilla pancakes when we go camping. (cover half a tortilla in chocolate spread, fold over, cover half in chocolate again, fold over and heat up in a frying pan).

The good thing about a Superviking is that the cooker slides out so you can cook on the tail gate - what I didn’t know, until someone mentioned on here, that it has legs, so you can cook outside - 2 years after I got it!!

  2. WOW! Your current set up looks wonderful and very useable I love the wind-out awning is amazing and I have to say the lower cooker is ingenious but completely understand the need to not be continuously bent double!

  3. It does feel more like camping if you're kneeling in the grass though doesn't it? :D

  4. I'm too old for that, I might not get back up these days:D

  5. Put it on a table, then you’ll be standing to cook, that’ll please her

  6. I’d love to be able to use a wind out awning on mine but unfortunately with the Devon roof, I’ve not been able to find a good solution to fit one.

Almost forgot - spanky 2.4L engine in the back. :)
The chances of finding one that ticks your every box are probably close to zero which is why I made this bus as my ultimate camper myself.

Be nice to travel light, 2 kids and a Mrs that would bring the kitchen sink if possible makes that option a no chance ha ha

  11. You’ll be for it for not having an alternator bung

Vegans and veggies look away as I really do not want to offend you.
Bought these from a lovely French lady's farm in the Dordogne circa 2002
To go with them she recommended a Saussingnac that was conveniently at hand.
    It was complete decadence...
