  2. I know it’s difficult for you labour voting types to understand, because last time your lot got in, it turns out the hallowed mr blair was more of a Tory than the Tories, but let me refresh a few memories.

Mr Cameron came to power with a very clear promise that if he was voted in then he would put the matter of brexit to a referendum. He got in. That’s democracy.

Then, true to his word and his manifesto, we had a referendum. Leave won. That’s democracy.

Then mr Cameron, who believed we should remain resigned as he didn’t believe a remainer should negotiate the withdrawal. Turns out he was right. That’s democracy.

We now have a labour leader who campaigned his whole if to leave the EU, apart from when the actual referendum was taking place of course, who’s now done a complete u-turn, wants to overrule the democratic will of the people to satisfy his own agenda as he sees it’s a quick way to snatch no10, and we are supposed to believe that everything will be rosey when jezza and Diane get in.

Be careful what you wish for. You might just get your wish and democracy over turned. You might just get your wish of a looney left socialist communist government. And you might just get 15% interest rates, massive unemployment and taxed back to the dark ages as well. Then you think all the banks will come running back to London with that shower running the show, I doubt it very much.

  3. The thing is Cameron never thought he would get a majority,he said you give me a majority and I will give you a referendum, well we gave him a majority, the writing was on the wall.

The Tories got in by the skin of their teeth. the lib dems helped them last time, the DUP this time. A manifesto is something decided by a party not the electorate, it wasn't in the lib dem manifesto nor the Dup's. The last time interest rates were 15% was under a Tory government in 1989!

  5. He was a fool
And you got what you asked for
    Then you won your referendum
Now you are having a pop at him

  6. Not having a pop,he should have seen this coming.

  7. The thing is whether you get in with a thumping great majority or with an alliance, if you get the most seats together. You form the government. In both the occasions you’ve quoted Labour simply didn’t get enough votes to form a government on their own and they didn’t even get enough votes to do a deal with anyone to form a government. They fell well short. I’m betting with red Jezza in charge they’ll struggle to form one next time as well. Plus he seems to have forgotten that a lot of shaky labour constituencies voted to leave.

It’s interesting times alright. I think the people in Westminster are as clueless as we are about what’s gonna happen in the end. They are all just desperate that when it’s all over, whatever happens they make sure they are on the winning side. Whatever that it.

Red, blue, yellow, green purple. They’re all lower than a snakes belly

Labour aren't a remain party are they?

A lot of the Toadies in the conservative party purport to be pro Brexit, but have since reneged at the crucial moment, conversely a lot of pro remain people in all parties have done deals and are now being very quiet.

I agree, they are all showing themselves to be lower than a snakes belly.

  14. I don’t think we are out on Friday are we? I thought they were going to pass emergency legislation to keep us in until the end of the EUs extension if the snakes vote for the May deal, or two extra weeks if they don’t. I thought they’d all agreed that the 29th is now dead. They all need the extra time to slither into their new nests.

A thought that comes to mind is this idea of the labour party being akin to the enemy within. Keir Hardie would turn in his grave, he dedicated his life to forming an alternative to the Libs and Tories. He improved mining and other trades conditions, encouraged a voice for working people through trade unionism. A thing forgotten in this fast privileged world. the conditions of workers was appalling in lots of trades, just to have a voice was a triumph. To form an alternative party on the back of it was an achievement too. A great man.

Attlee brought in social security and the NHS. They may seem insignificant now, but without them, previously a lot of poorer people ( your's and my ancestors ) may well have died prematurely.

It's quite quaint ( I mean alarming) reading all these pretentious Tories sticking up for the upper class party when in reality they've conned us into believing we're in their club. We're not and very few of us ever will be.

We will always need an alternative or we're royally...
