leave without a deal, things will be fine ,, the EU will collapse Itally will be bankrupt as will France, Germany might soldier on but they will be left all alone to bail out the non productive EU states and soon find that its a lost cause ..

The fuss in the EU over the UK leaving is that the EU nned the UK the UK on the other hand do not need the EU ..

Glad your happy in Spain.. thankfully you will be able to remain there. just as anyone who has decided to move the the UK can remain here .. it really not rocket science despite the smoke screen.

Its quite possible you have selfish reasons to remain.. Perhaps you fear being throw out of Spain. That may happen, but it would be narrow mindedness on behalf of the spanish authorities if that's what they choose to do.. Fill in a few forms apply for residency pay a fee and your done .. Just as you would if you wanted to go outwith the United states of Europe .. Its not that difficult really is it .. ?
Trade functions are another smoke screen, the problems are not without resolve, its just that the will of those making negotiations are not aligned, why not ask why we should be held to ransom? Like any club you should have the right to leave.. and an exit should really be a painless exercise .. unless there is no will to leave from those making negotiations and a desperate need by the EU states for us to stay for the financial stability of the EU ..

Leave means leave, looking forward to it and any short term hardship that may or most likely may not occur as a result .. Ive spoken to operators of big businesses, haliers and engineering companies and no one is really that worried, goods still need transport and components still need to be produced , customers are out there, more so in a free market economy without legislative restrictions of the EU.

That's probably all above you so lets just skip to your last line or indeed your last word "IDEALIST"

This word identifies the EU, they are united to create an ideal. not your ideal or my ideal but their ideal. there version of a new europe, a dictatorial state governed by bureaucrats and run on a system of rule based ideals.. where people or should that say "citizens" have ZERO freedoms ..

Dont take my word for it though, do your own research, read the information from both sides, not just recent publications and brainwashing, go back in history and read and research and you will conclude for yourself that the EU is a long held plan to create a single non democratic state of europe.. Idealists...

I was on a training course last week in that London, there was enterprise architects from 4 major banks, 3 smaller banks and two big insurance companies.

All of them had spent millions moving their non UK trading offshore in the last year or so....tens of thousands of jobs will go once those transitions are completed as UK only accounts don't need that many staff to support.

Barclays have shifted £1.6 billion of assets out of the UK to Ireland in the last 3 months.

I know people here won't care as its only jobs for city workers, and the above is a small cross section but I'd nominate this, the serious business people that 'aren't worried' are either liars or delusional. I'd also nominate that they've squirrelled things away and are trying to maintain market confidence to avoid a negative market run.

Brexit or no Brexit, huge damage is already on the tracks and staring to gather pace.

I'm agnostic on Brexit....but in my industry we see a lot of the effluence and how fast it flows.

On a weirdly brighter note, they say you can tell the economic health of a nation by the number of gantry cranes above its city....London is awash....could be money laundering on a grand scale or a sign of confidence/big balls speculation. Who knows.

France and germany linking together in there banking systems , basically provides them with the clout to dictate the score across europe . revamping EU defence strategy, significant changes in trade arrangements adopting other models closer to WTO standards ... revised civil defence strategies .. Th EU is the brainchild of a significant Austrian, who failed in his task, but that task continued via the back door .. welcome to the United States of Non Democratic Federal Europe ..

Regards Banking shenanigans they are just hedging there bets .. banking is misnomer since there is no actual money, just credit and more credit .. It would be an interesting conclusion to Brexit if there was a banking run...

The UKs GDP is pretty close to that of Germany, with unrestricted trade opportunities the UK can overtake Germany who will soon be bogged down bailing out its federal partners such as France and Italy , Italy is bankrupt and most likely the next to bail from the stranglehold of the EU ..

    a little light reading ...

  16. I think if they’d have told us from the start that a lot of greedy bankers would go to the wall if we voted to yes to brexit then a hell of a lot more people would have voted to leave. They should have put a picture of Fred the shread in a soup kitchen on the side of that bus and it would have been a landslide victory.

  17. I work in the construction industry.
I know I’ll be looking for a job as our books are usually full till end of year we don’t know what’s happening after September.
We do just residential ( which no one is investing in) all the big players are sitting on their land banks.

Should be interesting what happens either way.
    I didn’t want to leave.
I do now out of spite to get it over and done with so we can get on with life.

  18. Im confused. Ive listened to all the media remoaners and I now believe that only leavers can change their mind. I thought the whole point of over turning the democratic vote we’ve already had was because no one who voted to leave now wants to. I completely believe everything I hear on the BBC

  19. Still nailed to the fence

  20. I voted leave and if the remainers get a second vote I would still vote leave.
I understand that the rich and powerful will relocate assets they will always look after themselves.
I didn't vote to leave just on the immigration card I voted because I wanted my country back, my own laws and taxes raised by my own government.
Security is a binding Nato alliance that the French have always distrusted and others such as Belgium have cowered under the umbrella of.
I am so fed up with the whole political farce of it Where our political standing in the world has been turned into a laughing stock that I relish a no deal being the end result.
