Despite saying he didn't have a list, the father in law moaned about having nothing to eat so much I went to the local Lidl at 18.15 hunter gather style and bought a load of stuff. Transpires he has enough meals prepared for the next two weeks, my wife is really annoyed I can help laughing about it, not funny I know but it just goes to show what is happening out there.
BTW our local lidl was pretty well stocked, plenty of fresh fruit & veg, no self raising or bread flour or eggs or milk, limited fresh meat and almost no frozen produce just pizza. We won't starve
I scored some plain flour down at the local Tesco Express, and a bunch of bananas. They even had 2 packs of loo roll on the shelf
It rather annoys me that a great deal of people who have snatched up the flour...have no idea at what you would do with it other than "make bread". I bet bread maker sales have gone through the roof along with freezers - you can't get a freezer, the hoarders bought them all. So I'm told. That is sick.
I do , but I’ve only got four bags , one plain ,one self-raising oooerr , one strong and one rye . But I’m lucky I’m not feeding like I’m used too . AND I wasn’t allowed to give pizzas for allergy reasons . But supermarket sarnies are ok ! Or fags !
