If you are correct the with-bluetooth feature list comes from the HP 15-ba046na. I looked at the HP website. Not a HP 15-ba027na which is what they sent you. If you want to keep it may well be able to remove the Wifi card from under a hatch on the bottom and plug in a combined wifi/bluetooth card.
I thought of that but heres no hatch in the bottom. The whole bottom is one piece held on with security screws all round.
That sounds pretty Marmite .... from the extent of your problems I'd have taken them to court, i'd probably have done it myself. .... their terms and conditions would in law I believe be deemed 'unfair' [unfair contract terms act 1977]. So does their surveyor not come out and measure up before they charge you £18k, its a little while since I studied contract law but from memory it sounds like they play on people's lack of legal knowledge and a reliance on their T&Cs.
I dont know the difference but you have less protection from the card provider if you paid by Debit Card.
Very head office is in Speke, liverpool. (No thieving scumbag jokes). I'm not too far away if a visit is required
@Zebedee If they described it as having bluetooth and it doesn't, then its a clear breach of the sale of goods acts The Sale of Goods Act 1979 requires goods to be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Use the email address from baysearcher Email them saying here is a screen grab from the very website describing the laptop you sold me as having bluetooth The laptop you sold me doesn't have bluetooth, therefore 'very' have breached the sale of goods act I want to return the computer as it was not as described & I want a full refund ASAP & (within 5 days) Please ensure a copy of this email is passed onto Very's compliance manager Please ensure that all reference made to this computer having bluetooth is removed from your website and any sales material If they don't respond send another email serving a Notice Before Action on them (NBA)
When people don't pay me I use a letter before action and in addition to email also send it "signed for" postage. as that makes it harder for them to claim non receipt.
