Iv been meaning to do the headliner for ages but Iv been trying to find some sort of channel to fix the bus so that the end grain wasn't visible and it looked neater. I ended up using plaster board edging from b&q, once the mesh was cut off it worked a treat! I also used hard wood to make the joining strips across the roof so they matched everything else. All stained and fitted I had some flexi ply left over so I re made the kick panels as the normal 3mm ply just didn't bend enough and snapped And to finish on a bad note, The coil packed up on my way to bugjam last Friday and I didn't have a spare tuesday_wildchild Nearly forgot....... Austin at Waboo automotive also trimmed my sun visors a while ago to match the seats
Cheers rob.e Yeah pretty Syked that it's going to be in the mag!! Never thought it would be feature worthy tho So it was a nice surprise when they asked.
Interior is looking wicked! Where did you get the flexi-ply I'm looking at something similar for mine..
Cheers dude!! I got the flexi ply from a timber merchants called Wenban-smith but if you google it quite a few places sell it.
It pains me to say this but I think it's time to move on..... The bay is going to be up for sale. I will write a long detailed add this weekend but for now PM me if your interested!
Cheers chap! I would love to keep it but Iv got the itch for another project and I can't afford it with out selling the bay. It hasn't been an easy decision I can tell you.
Well this is the end of this thread now as the bay has gone. Cheers for all the kind comments over the last few years
