There's going to be a bit of delay with them going in unfortunately due to the panels being crap! Not one hole lines up with the existing holes on the bus!!! I knew I shouldn't have bought them from eBay tuesday_wildchild Iv emailed them and waiting for a reply, hoping to get a refund but either way I won't have time to get new ones fitted for a couple of weeks now.
These Arnt offset, they are so far out you can't see the original holes on the bus. They are miles out Might just ask for ones with out the holes pre cut and do it myself.
Pleased to say that the bus behaved for the wedding Saturday. Everything went to plan and the weather was spot on!! Can't wait to see the final photos from the photographer as she took so many. heres a couple I got with my phone. The Mrs and my little girl having some photos done in the bus The photographer sent us these 2 yesterday as a teaser
Your bus is one of my favourite mates.....been following your thread and kudos to you on how its turned out similar stance to how I'd like mine to finish up. congrats on the wedding too....your Mrs is tidy
Cheers man! That's awesome I really appreciate it!! I'm really happy with the end result so far, it's exactly how I've had it planned in my head since I started. The ride is surprisingly good considering how low it is too. Ps. The Mrs said cheers haha
Not a massive update.... I bought and fitted a new battery so she fires up instantly now! New rear wheel bearing kit fitted last night and i managed to finish detailing the centre caps last week. I've also stuck sound deadening to all the panels and then gone over it all with foil insulation so il be cracking on with the interior panels next. Then it will be time to start making the interior itself. The current plan is make opposite facing full width benches that turn into a bed and a cushion on the rear load bed so my daughter can sleep up there. Aiming to kind of make the benches look something like early Devon ones but I keep changing my mind so I think it will be what it will be Anyway..... Here's a couple of pics I shot at a little club meet I organise. A few of us arrived early to get some photos while the sun was out. And one of my caps that I had painted.
A few photos I took a Brighton breeze yesterday! I still haven't started the interior as Iv just been enjoying the fact I can drive it now haha. Planning to start the build in November now and crack on over winter.
Made a start on the interior now winter is here! So far the floors done Foam Underlay Then cut some 6mm into the recess Top layers Nice and solid, ready to start building the seats!
