  3. Still slowly cracking on with this
Engine and box are in, looms in and 90% done but I'm unsure of some of the wiring so I'm need of an auto electrician to check it all over and finish it off. A blokes supposed to be coming round one evening this week hopefully! Once the wirings complete and it runs the dash and seats etc can go in and then it's onto doors and seals :)
Here's a couple of up to date pics

  7. It's alive!!!!
Iv been having a few issues wiring in a new loom recently but it turns out it was a few extra wires that I don't need causing the confusion. Any way, we turned it over the other day and it fired up a treat!! I was literally crapping myself but so happy when it started
Made other progress too, both cab doors, 1 sliding door and the tail gate are all fitted with seals so it's just 1 more sliding door and the engine lid to go. Iv replaced so many little bits it's impossible to remember them all but it's all coming together :)
Iv also painted and fitted the front bumper but I'm not keen on how bright it looks so Iv got some pastel white which I'm going to re spray it with. Hopefully it won't look as bright then.
I forget what Iv done in between updates as I'm in the garage playing most afternoons.
Ah, the dash is all in now as well which has made a huge difference, it really is started to look like a bus now rather than a tin can. Iv also had a set of polished fuch reps boxed away in the shed for a while so I got them fitted with some new rubber last week and detailed them yesterday. I'm pretty happy with them, just need some og caps to detail and they will be good to go on!!!
    Here's a few pics anyway

  14. Cheeers man!! You hit the nail on the head there
There's still plenty to do but the fact I can use it at the same time now makes it so much better:chewie:

  15. Making a start on the interior now. Going for a basic set up, just two opposite facing full width bench seats that turn into a bed with a small bed on the rear load area for my daughter. I've bought a full ply wood panel set that I've just wood stained and il be doing the same with the bench seats. Aiming to make them look like Devon seats I think. I plan to riv nut the whole bus so all the panels can be easily removed if and when I want etc.
Hoping to have the panels fitted this week to tidy the inside up as I'm using the bus for my wedding next Saturday. Once the weddings all done with il be cracking on with the bench seats.
I've been pottering around in the bus this week getting used to driving it  also lowered it a wee bit and fitted the remaining windows!!
Here's a few pics of it now
