..........What a chump! I watched the majority of Trump V Clinton in the wee hours. It was like a train crash. Donald Trump lives in cloud cuckoo land! His main 'qualification' for the Presidency is that he has set up & run a successful company or companies???? Clinton called him out for not filing his tax return, for being inexperienced & dangerous to have in office & mostly for being a bigotted racist! She has a point & I thought she conducted herself very well, although there are skeletons in her cupboard. The outcome of these debates will be interesting. Sorry @poptop2 another political thread!
I agree but I would prefer people with successful backgrounds running the country than the career politician lot

Unfortunately, with Trump that's not the case. He took his dad's money and has made less out of it than he would have putting it into a stock market tracker fund. He is a bona fide muppet.

It would prove very interesting if Trump gets in and tries to build the wall.I think the average Mexican will outsmart him and go by boat or put a scaffolding tower up and climb over

It's the way of the world. Successful economies attract money and people because of the opportunities. If these economies indulge in protectionism (as seems to be becoming more fashionable), the inequality grows and the attraction grows to prospective immigrants. Freer world markets, no wars (surely the best way to waste money and lives ever invented) and accountable democracies with proper rule of law will cure immigration issues, not walls.
Can't sell guns, justify massive intrusion into citizen privacy or 'defence' budgets when everyone gets on though...and they all feed from those same troughs.
I keep thinking of the character, Greg Stillson, in " The Dead Zone " by Stephen King. The entire Trump campaign could have been lifted from the novel.
Trump's actually not much worse than Bush Jnr, the difference being he was told what to say and do and did exactly that. He only revealed his real stupidity when he thought/spoke for himself. If Trump shut up and listened/did as he was told he'd get in but I suspect/hope he won't.
Nah the man in the street aint bothered, The only people who are bothered are Clinton supporters. And she covered up and lied about Bills discretions for years.
