My Strat is a 1962 Cherry Red one, it's with a muso mate down in Adelaide as some barsteward stole his. I bought it at McCabe's Music in Santa Monica, if you're ever in or around Los Angeles it's worth a trip to the shop. https://www.mccabes.com/store/ The concerts they put on are great and a real chance to see some great musicians up close without the usual dramas.
Very nice, and the reason, if you can only have one electric, you can't go wrong with a Strat I do prefer my Strats or Teles for that matter, with a rosewood fingerboard though. Just personal taste
Playing at a birthday gig a few years back. The trusty Nashville telecaster. Haven't played it hardly at all since I started the van resto. Funny how spare time just disappears!. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I didn't really have a choice - maple or nothing! I really must devote more time to him. Quite pleasing that in this age of a new throw-away cellphone every 18 months, the design of the Strat (and Tele) is over half a century old...
I'm ashamed, I have a Fender tele, a Kramer semi acoustic, tanglewood semi acoustic and a Yamaha bass and since i've been ill I havn't played any of them. All to do with having no time and wondering why I ever learnt to play in the first place. Nuff said.
