I think I will try and get a smaller one like @Chrisradioman has

 

looks ok , nothing wrong with being a square , its swinging or dodgy you wana watch

 

He has one of those states plates ones I think (wrong font) you need a jap import styleee one

 

Ideally I would get a USA style one as I got it there and they fit in so much better or a German font one

 

i always forget my vans birthday...... could have sworn was 9th march but was 6th.....doh happy belated birthday 37 years old hurry up and be free tax will you!

 

So today I finally got the van inside it's garage, due to having to totally gut the house it's been sat outside for 2 months while I used the space to work/store. Now the bedrooms and front room are 99% done I've been able to clear the front of the garage and move our "temporary" kitchen to the rear. Here's few shots of the before and after.

I knew I'd got a few cm's to spare but I still had to keep checking.



And she's in.

It's just marking it's new territory.

 

It's not too bad about 4cm I think, the van isn't lowered and has all new shocks so is quite high, also there's not much stuff in it to weigh it down, once it's loaded it will be about 6cm clear I'd guess. I'm just glad it's in as the insurance would probably have been invalid had it been nicked due to me saying it was garaged.

 

Think it's a shadow off the towbar? I have a small oil leak there's a tray under it now.

Even @lost-en-france can't claim to have a campervan in his kitchen.

 

It's the latest thing on these house improvement shows you know!

nothing to report on the bus - due to all the house duties it's just sat there.... the good thing is it's finally paid for now which has always been a bit of a mare - £236.08 a month to sit there........ anyway, now we have broke the back of the house stuff we're hoping for a few weekends away in the near future so this year might not be as baren as 1st thought - i don't have many holidays left though but am trying to tag fridays/mondays to make long weekends plus am hoping to go to techenders a bit earlier.

 

been away for a long weekend, you know one of those perfect ones where the weather is great, the bus runs well, the beer is cold? yep was great, the only thing i forgot was binbags this time so i'm doing well... only went to lower lacon in Wem but it's a nice site with all we need on there so we can just pitch and chill out, the only down side for me is i got bit by mozzies. It's been a bit of a baren camping season so far this year due to the house move but we've had 5 nights so far and will get a few more so i guess it could be worse.
