Put a rectangular plate on and fitted a new number plate light as mine was bust, decided I'm not fitting the rear wheel carrier so put wheel back on front.
it is a bit big though, what it is i bought a rectangle for if i fitted the rear carrier, as i'd got it i thought i'd try it, i'll admit i'm not sure but as i had it i tried it.... i might keep it on for a bit i might not, you can't see it when driving.
I think it's time I sorted mine out. The square yankee one had been painted round and I just put this one on temporarily 3 1/2 years ago. I may even cave in and get black/silver ones.
The issue is the size, usually they are about 9? Inch if square on a van so they fit in the recess, this is 11? So sits on the edge. I'll probably get bored when I see it in the outdoor light from a distance.
I'm trying to think what size mine is now. I got mine from local car spares shop so it was whatever size they had. Didn't you order yours from Ebay? I sort of recall you were discussing it a while ago. Did you choose that size on purpose?
I've just found this photo of mine. It looks like it overlaps too. I'm now going to start noticing it!!
Change it back Rick, you know you're gonna in the end so you may as well do it now, just put it down to bad choices and experience
Size didn't matter as if I fit the devon style wheel carrier it goes on the tailgate so isn't size limited.
Lol I wanna see it from a distance first but van is inside blocked in so I only got about a foot behind it
