It is indeed your correct But im not planning on leaving those people unpayed Please doug dont make me feel bad as im hard enough on myself If the paravan sells and i buy a bongo ill bring a box of cider with me Im not dropping the late bay or the people i owe a cuddle or drink to
Mate, I'm not trying to make you feel bad, I just know you'll regret and dwell on it if you let it go. Get it finished, use it, then if you don't want it, sell it.
You don't get to the front of the race as it comes around the final bend and then slow down. The reality is it'll take a bit longer...it'll break your heart to give the thing away.
I think with an engine in it and an mot but no interior(apart from front seats) it will go for 10k,surely that is doable?
With a little time and cost for someone else it could be an earner If it doesent sell at ten grand by the end of august then it will drop offline for a while
Always try and catch up on your resto thread, loved every minute of it. Is it not possible to sit on the thought over summer. After all you deserve to be the first driver after giving it a new lease of life. I know people may question 10000 but the labour alone covers that. Hope you get yourself in a position where you can let this feeling pass and find the passion once more. All the hard work is done. The interior and engine must surely be the part that finally puts that smile on your face. Good luck either way
If your minds adamant then I'm not here to tell you you are wrong, and I appreciate there are a lot of reasons why getting rid is the only option. I'm just not sure you'll be able to sell to people you like for a price that's fair in your minds eye. Anything less will be very hard for you is all.
I'd of thought not many people would be interest tbh. The fact is its been customed to your spec so you loose 90% of those who might be interested. Besides isn't it a panel van Good luck with it, what ever you do. I personally would like to see it finished and enjoyed - preferably by you.
Speechless, I'd have to agree with RazzyH on this but that's probably cos I know someone who might pay what it's worth Sorry to hear the news fella
Para , lovely, I can understand your reasoning , I really can , but also can see that if it were to get finished etc it would be awesome for you and your family . I am not going to try and sway you either way , you know your own path. Wishing you all the best with the sale x
Good luck with the sale. For what is in effect just nuts and bolts we do get attached to our cars. Sadly that love can become exhausting. And on top of that it doesn't end there. There is always something to be done to these buses. And then there is their thirst for the good stuff!!!! Enjoy the Bongo and Micra but if you are selling the Paravan to better the lives of your family then the money should be spent on that and not the £4k or so on the lifestyle.
