Cheers for that You will have to prise the keys from my cold dead hands at £5k And if you try you will need at least 6 ks worth of new teeth
With no engine, interior or MOT you'll never get top dollar for it. You need to find someone with some vision to see what it could become.
How rude...i'd give him 6k tomorrow and my old tent n stove, so he can still enjoy the great outdoors
Wtf? Surely you owe it to everyone who's followed your resto thread to finish it and use it at least once??? You ain't gonna get £10k in its current state imho.
I thought it was a bit further on. Still, it's an easy finish for someone. Buy an engine for 2k and an interior for 1-1.5k and you'd have a top van.
Good Luck with the sale, I don't know you but have read a number if your posts - there has been a fair number I don't know your situation, so what I am about to suggest may not be feasible. Get an engine in, and get an MOT. Sounds to me like you have made a decision, a tough one at that...but not thought through the best way to maximise your efforts thus far. I may have an 2.0 cu engine available in 2/3 months (max). Could work something out buy when van sells etc.
I know you have mate, but there are a lot of people hanging on to see it finished and YOU using it. Selling now is the wrong thing to do imho.
Spot on and no worry about welding come mot time Ive changed My family has changed The world has changed Its 10k firm even if others think its not worth it
It does have a fair bit going for it too though. I think you'd make more for it on the road than it'd cost you to get it there. I appreciate that sometimes getting it there cannot always be obtainable. Whatever happens, all the best
Thats what feels bad about it for me I have to put my family first though even if that makes me a @hailfrank ban me please! to other people I should have done it years ago tbh
It doesn't make you a ****. Its a shame for the myriad of people who donated parts to get it on the road though.
