  1. Took the words outta me mouth there Zeds.
There's an aution room across from here Para, every sunday. Just give us a nod and I can send you piccies from the viewing the day before.

  2. I think to go with the huting lodge/log cabin style id have to start a complete fresh with everything on the interior

So far i have this cupboard unit

That interior will look a whole lot better in a nicely painted van. It'll be fine and give you time to replace it bit by bit if you want to. You couold loose the gold knobs though. ;)

  4. The tweed will look awesome Para, but as someone else said- get it professionally Scotch guarded. I used the spray on stuff and it still stained!
Just have your door cards danish oiled marine ply with matt black cups and screws- will look great.

That'll keep you busy individually painting each cup and screw head! :D

  5. Yeah those gold knobs are awfull

  6. This is the sort of thing id like but inside my van and yet still be practical

I think you're going to struggle to get the best of that scaled down into a van, but if you can it'd be great. :)

  16.
    That was brilliant

  17. If you're at all concerned about stains and dirt etc. then have a look at contract grade upholstery...I did mine from stuff designed for use in old people's homes.
Yes I know that by admitting to this I'm opening myself to all sorts of abuse...I see it as future-proofing (as opposed to p*ss-proofing).[IMG]
Something like this from Carmina fabrics is contract seating grade, so will be hard wearing, Flame retardent, stain resistant etc. (Called Hemp btw)

  18. I think im going to have to make a useable interior out of whatever i can get my hands on
Then let it slowly evolve over time into something along the lines of what i want
If i try and get what i want perfect before it goes on the road there will be no petrol left by the time ive finished it

Does it smell of mothballs and make you believe everyone is your son?

Then i read the decription and it sounds like it was meant for the paravan

Influenced by the powers of nature, Craggan emanates a rugged landscape weathered by the elements and accented by touches of bright flora among barren moorland. This rich woollen fabric is enhanced by a delicate highlight shade that sits quietly in the background of this simple chunky weave creating a raw, yet inviting upholstery fabric.
