I expect that even given government bribes to make EVs like the majority of old style car makers, Dyson looked at the market and realised its going to be a hard game, converting clip-together pretty plastic John Lewis ware into robust road vehicles. I also find it interesting that JCB without distortions of government bribery is involved in massive investment in hydrogen, not battery power.
