  6. Hi, I've just recently joined because in an act of madness I bought a camper off ebay. I had previously done up a crossover for my daughter and 8 years later it is still running. This bus was complete except for the interior, so I knew where everything went.
This time however the rolling chassis is good but someone nicked parts of the engine and the gearbox, and lots of other parts.
It's a viking but there is only the roof, no tent frame etc.
To get to the thread, would I be welcome at techenders without the bus, and if I came in an ancient Hymer would I be let on the field.

I've been going for the last 3 or 4 years and people turn various vehicles because their bus us off the road . I turned up in my T5 last year and ploughed the field up because of the weight of the van and the slightly water logged field I felt guilty at the damage I caused and that I needed Eddy to tow me off the field.
You would be more than welcome in anything you can get there in as far as I am aware .

  12. Thanks all
    Sounds like a date then
Is there someone you have to book in with?

  13. Yep - send me a non-returnable booking fee of££££s.....

nope - just turn up. There will be a list up closer to the date of who's going (or intends to go) then over the following days and weeks people will break their buses trying to fix or service them before going and others will have other commitments they've forgotten about (usually wife related), others again will think better of it as it might..... re... not be clement and their hamster will, contract a rare virus and need 24/7 care.

All in all its amazing any of us get there.

I’ll be there, will be in a T5 crew van again (Hopefully work can get me one) as my bay isn’t much closer to being on the road since last April - you can’t rush a good job!;):D

Will be delivering parts for @pkrboo and @davidoft then probably just chilling/loafing, helping/pointing where needed!
