Like Pardox, mine are in the shelf awaiting my attention. Don't want to cut new holes. May install in head ache shelf near it's center as it has a "vent" in the center towards the bed? (don't know why).
2 x 6" full range in front doors 2 x 3" under the dash 1 x 12" sub in enclosure made into buddy seat 2 x 3" in the rear roof cupboard 2 x 6 by 9 in pods above engine bay 2X amps under the rear bench seat fed by farad cap . very thick speaker cable . sounds great and rocks the bay
. It's good and it's loud enough for me. The sub adds a lot of oomph, without it it sounds like a transistor radio if you know what I mean. I need 6x9's somewhere but I don't want to see them.
My sub has it's own amp. I bought an all in one then butchered it - cheaper than an amp and speaker. I hoped a sub would cover the bass and I could just have mid and tweeters which I could hide, but it could be better, there's a punchy gap missing. If you liked heavy rock music you wouldn't be impressed, if you liked reggae you would. I like both so I need some 6x9's. Kick panels looks favourite to me.
Dammit. I listen to thrash metal so need all the range. Maybe the 3' setup with tweeters in the front with a sub n mids in the back. Not a fan of 6x9's. circular sound waves and all that.
Correct, a lot of home stuff was 8ohm, these are actually 6 ohm, and the sub is 4ohm, but we are powering them with two old skool amps that work on anything 4 to 8ohm so we got all bases covered!
Paul's Silverfish has a full rollcage fitted. That's part of the cab section of the cage. I'm sure if you asked nicely he'd picture-whore the rest of it show you some more photos.
