I do lock all the other cars, and I agree I probably should keep the camper locked but there is always something in the back of my mind that as the cab doors have a 3 inch gap I may as well leave em open The slider door and the hatch are usually locked.

 

Leave it unlocked but secure one of these to the floor and tie the other end of the wire to the door handle
Under no circumstances should you adapt it to take a real shotgun cartridge especially if your of a forgetfull nature

All joking aside when i lived in shropshire i often helped local people get stolen items returned to them a few times
As i dont live in the same place as zoe i dont think i would have much luck
My money is on the thief wasent working alone and had a look out and they were looking for cash or jewelry rather than wanting to steal the vehicles
If i had an in in zoes town my first port of call would be asking which local smack head has built up too much debt and there dealer has cut there tick off

Zoe have you spoke to the local plod and did they have an idea who it may be?

Yeah we had them round this morning. And scenes of crime too. Amusing really considering they nicked a gym bag that was donkey's years old. The rozzers were equally nonplussed as to why they'd taken a bag but not bothered to fill it with anything. Given that all the coat pockets and the bags had been thoroughly emptied out, and the fact that the gates were wide open (to drive a car through, not to let a person through) they thought it highly likely that they were looking for keys.

 

my guess is that he took the bag ta put goodies in but hadnt bargained for wombles interest in him or her ? clueso needed . foot prints dna ?

bizarrely i once had a car broken into 20 yrs ago ..

he/they left behind a tool box full of tools...

but took
my glasses ... duh my prescription so no use ..duh

and a pair of my trousers...ive got legs like an action man .....duh

their not the brightest sometimes....
