sober for october? anyone?

sober....all month?.....rather die in agony with a spike up my ar=e!!!

 

I'm not doing so well ,it was never going to happen

 

sobriety not too high on your agenda then...bit surprised there is still some good stuff in the bottles!

 

No I get bored easily.

 

I drink alchohol at most on half a dozed occasions a year - ive been a bit *******ed once or twice during the year but dont think ive been proper drunk for a very long time! (was a bit at techenders tbh) Im getting to the point now when im tempted to give it a try but I know I will have to write a whole weekend off to recover!

 

those cans of holsten pils went down easy at eddys a couple of weeks ago ....

2 cans and a pint all weekend - that was all of Sepembers drinking. Hardly counts I think.

 

Yep.my wife and I have set out to do this together..mmmmm we are already discussing wine.. This won't lastwe enjoy a drink at weekends to much. Well see what happens this weekend. I'm doing a 50k mountain bike race on Sunday so that may keep me away from it sat nightgood luck to those of you that are trying.

I failed. I arrived at a friends wedding at 11:30am Saturday and I had started drinking. I did mange 5 days. I'll try again next year. I might make it 6.

 

Well done for giving it a go, you can't knock a chap for trying.

 

Ive not been in a pub for a week
Darts match tmw so i have to break that but i intend to do a drink mostly at home october

Well, a few hours anyway. Easily done, I've been known to have whisky in my morning cup of tea so you did really, really well.

 

still dry here so far too, it helps to drive alot you cant carry the glass n park a bus anyway
