    Took a trip down to the West Ham victory parade last night. Stood on Green Street right outside The Boleyn Tavern. A great night, mixed with sadness that we now play in a soul-less athletics stadium.

    So pleased for David Moyes. He was shafted at OT, he should have stayed at Everton and they wouldn’t be in the mess they are now, that said he’s done you proud. Happy hammers!

    Not such a great bike ride today. Got clipped by an Audi on an island :(

    Not as a manager but I think he won a few gongs at Aberdeen as a player under Ferguson? He’s a mid table manager with an occasional burst of minor success, but I’m glad he won something and West Ham they’re a decent club apart from a few moronic fans!

    I think bad driving has always been about but I feel it's getting worst. A short journey I made this morning in my rather conspicuous red car, woman reversed out, and drove away without even noticing that I was there and I had stopped because I though she was going to break every rule there is, and she did. A few minutes later, an old codger drives right out in front of me. I emergency brake, swerve and he just drives on and the cars behind me just drive past me....the SE is Marmitee at times!

    Glad your OK @Poptop2 and have the right medicine.

    You’re best off cycling away from traffic. Car drivers don’t realise how close they come sometimes, or maybe they do. Car driver gets a little hot under the collar but the cyclist gets injured.
    Then people on here joke about the sound a driver makes running over a cyclist. Not so funny really, especially when nearly every cyclist is a motorist too.

    No she never stopped I don’t think she realised she’d clipped me tbh. A guy stopped and a wagon driver to help but I told them I was okay and the traffic was backing up so they went. The truck driver said it was a green Audi, woman driver 17 plate but she was well gone before I picked myself up, he is checking his camera tonight but he didn’t think he was at the right angle to capture the incident. Hopefully someone will have caught it on their dashcam but there isn’t any cameras on the island @Huyrob :(

    No nerves, no panic not complaining. Just been to Halfords for a new inner tube and repair kit, came home fixed bent wheel and forks, bike done and dusted, wine nearly gone :thumbsup:
