... although, tbf, we had a series of "Inbetweeners" Cinquecentos and they were all great .... You'd expect they're all oxide by now but they galvanised them

So far so good! Neg again this morning. But a chap I worked with at the cinema on Wednesday evening tested positive the following morning…… it’s getting closer!

Met up with a German pilot who is down here in Bassano Del Grappa flying and travelling around in this V8 American baby (I think he said it was a 5l). Really good sized camper....nicely laid out, with a 'bit' more room than our babies, but not too big.

This is the last on my phone after a lovely day at Goodwood Revival celebrating my dad’s 70th

The cars of his youth were Mini’s, Anglia’s and Lotus Cortina lookalikes, a few lambrettas and his current Series II Landy… so he was in his element.

Throw into the mix my brother and I being VW and Porsche fans the only disappointing part of the day was a parade of Ferraris around the track!! They were headed by the 911 safety car so even that display retained some interest!

    A few other pics…

Got a bit of a hankering for sideways Mini action as well… the midlife crisis is rumbling away nicely!

Your notice the discs are unvented in classic race cars. They apply dabs of red paint to the discs outer edge that gets inspected after a race and of the paint disappears the discs , callipers etc get replaced

Indeed. We caught one of the practice sessions early on - a mix of Minis, Cortina’s, and two American continents on wheels. Very interesting watching them navigate the last corner before the chicane in their own different ways!
