    There’s a house in town with the complete Christmas outside decorations lit every night since last weekend….. inflatable Santa, light-up reindeer, the works…. Christmas has started, even if I’ve yet to hear a single seasonal song thus far.

    If you want to spend a very long time trawling back through old forums and cached copies of bits of MySpace using waybackmachine I'm sure you'll find the answers you need.

    It's never started on December 1st there is no ignominy in December like there is hearing it in November. That's the whole point. Season starts when people start reporting Noddy out in the wild, this is dictated by the retail industry, I'm just the arbiter of when to drop the flag really. One year a few years back they rolled him out obscenely early and we had to open the season in October. Broadly speaking after fireworks with 50 days to go to the day itself is the normal start date.

    Being doing the Heardle for a few months. I'm in danger of being Noddied early on as we do the Christmas Heardle and 60s, 70s, 80s, 80s #1s, 90s and 2000s.

    Sitting in Boots, had just had a covid jab, now waiting for flu jab. I've been Maria'ed and am currently being Jonah'ed. It will be a bullet well dodged if I get out of here Noddy free!

    I always think the lowest point possible is to be De Burghed. I’d sooner be Noddied a thousand fold before being De Burghed. Makes me shudder just thinking about it :(

    @art b snd @CollyP always seem to avoid being Noddied year on year. Anyone know where they live? Can we go round en masse and expose them to a damn good Noddying at ear splitting volume? I can’t bear another year of their smug Noddy free boasts :(

    I've been un-noddied for the last few years but fell for a cheap shot when I HAD to take some kids swimming and put the minibus radio on to keep the little darlings quiet - just as HeartFM let Noddy rip .

    Needless to say the little darlings sang along ....

    Planting a tree for some old boy this lunchtime, and the builders next door had their radio on….. it was inevitable.
