In the Middle Ages onions were such an important food to the Europeans that they were used as currency to pay for essentials such as rent and were even given as gifts. In Siberia onions were still used as a form of currency up to the mid-18th Century I get paid peanuts...
why when @vanorak quotes anyone he either removes the quoted persons name or it doesn't appear? most annoying.
I wasn't aware that the poster's name wasn't visible....I thought that little tag box with " somebody said ^" above their quote, was just something I couldn't see , because I'd quoted them...don't know what I'm doing wrong? I click on the quote marks, highlight the text I'd like to quote, right click and paste....is there another way? Educate me @rickyrooo1 ....
^^^ that's what happens when I highlight the name at the same time...maybe my browser setting? Thing is, now that I know you find it annoying...I shall play on it at every opportunity
are you posting off computer or tapatalk? this is what we see when we quote (spaces added to show you) [q u o t e="vanorak, post: 543017, member: 1397"]^^^ that's what happens when I highlight the name at the same time[/q u o t e]
Tried highlighting the name below the avatar pic...that didn't work, then tried highlighting the small case name next to the edit report text...neither did that
@vanorak, do you click the reply button within the persons post? Or reply to the thread and then cut n paste the required text from the screen?
