they look great James. my buddy seat needs a cushion - i'll give you a shout once i know what's happening with my redundancy etc. no unnecessary spending at the moment unfortunately.
Looks fab @JamesLey . You’ve certainly inspired confidence in your work, starting at your own van . Good luck
Thank you! I'd had a fair few people compliment me on the work on my van so thought why not make a go of it.
A few pics from @paneuropaul of the RnR bed and buddy seat I recently made for him installed in his van. They look ace against the interior colours, and Nelson the bear seems to have found his place in the van too!
Porsche Tombstone seat disassembly this morning for @paneuropaul’s camper. Barnaby getting involved as usual. These will be getting upholstered to match the bed cushions I did for him.
I was going to wait until I’d finished both seats but I’m too excited not to put a picture up. First Porsche Tombstone seat reupholstered in westy fabric and chestnut vinyl for @paneuropaul ’s camper. Lovely stuff.
Finished up the Porsche Tombstone seats tonight for @paneuropaul 's camper, all ready for Summer adventures (if we’re allowed!). I’ve a few small jobs left for Paul over the weekend, some westfalia cushions and a strap for his buddy seat, then I’m moving onto our next upholstery job, a set of T25 seats.
You made the right call not doing them tartan all over. It would have been too much, you were right. Nice work.
Yeah I think fabric all over works if it’s plain, but tartan would hurt the eyes! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last few items upholstered for Paul’s camper over the weekend. A pair of scatter cushions for the bed and a strap to secure his buddy seat. Starting our next project this week, a pair of T25 seats. The current fabric on them is, erm, interesting! Watch this space.
Here's the T25 seats in all their garish glory before I got my hands on them: And all finished ready to be collected tomorrow. They've been done in a similar fabric combination as our van, but with a slightly darker fabric:
Another set of front seats now finished for a local T25 camper. I love how these turned out, a very eye catching combo. We upholstered the headrests to match the rest of the seats too:
