Made a good start on the RnR bed cushions for @paneuropaul's camper this week. 2/3rds of them done now, just the big cushion that sits over the engine bay to go.

I love the combination of fabrics he decided on for this. :)

  3. Chuffed, absolutely brilliant.
Best start getting the front seats out, especially if you're going to be furloughed again.

    Glad you like them mate.
No word of being furloughed yet, but who knows what this month will reveal!

At the very least it'd make me laugh! I'll try it out next time someone asks, see how it goes down. :gnome:

  8. Have you had a chance to think about a price list for guidance, perhaps based on the cushion type/size with a basic material type as a starting point?

I'll hopefully throw up a website some time this year with prices etc. In the meantime I'm happy to provide quotes via PM.

Finished up @paneuropaul's RnR bed cushions this week.
I added some straps to the bases to attach them to the frames.
I’ll be making covers for a buddy seat to go along with these cushions next.

would it be possibly better to put ply in the cushions with nut inserts so they could be bolted to the bed frame ?

  12. It's not that kind of bed. It has a metal grid welded to the frame rather than wooden boards under the cushions.

yes that what i thought it was, but what stops the cushions sliding off in an accident ?

My guy did that for me, or rather I took him the ply with the nuts already in and asked him to insert it under the material.
If the bed frame is suitable, it makes removing the cushions a doddle.

  17. If be more worried about knees and anything else that's loose than a couple of bits of foam doing their best to get up front past the cupboards, bulkheads and squeezing through the walkthrough.

It’s for the people that would be sat on it sliding off .

Matching buddy seat to go with @paneuropaul's RnR bed. Can’t wait to see these in his van now.
