I remember a long time ago, those dull and boring History lessons in secondary school. Lucy Worsley has rekindled my interest in British History. Plus Hannah Fry for the maths and Maggie for Astronomy on Sky at Night. Professor Jim Al-Khalili is good for anyone interested in the history of Chemistry and discovery of the elements, great stuff.
I enjoyed the thermal decomposition demo. Reminds me of school and various practical demonstrations that didn’t always go to plan, especially when replicated by us pupils. I failed Chemistry O level. Having said that an E would probably get me an A these days. Stop sniggering at the back Haynes!
I had some fantastic chemistry teachers and we did quite few of those experiments in class. I've done some of the more tame ones with my grand daughters; Princess Christina won't let me do the more exciting ones but their mum would be fine with it
