Servo I presume. If you don't have servo brakes just blank it off with a bit of hose with a bolt stuck in the end and secured with a jubilee clip and maybe a bit of liquid gasket on the thread to make it airtight.
Top of the oil bath air cleaner if you stil have one! I've seen somewhere a pic of where is all should go. I'll try and find it! Or someone else will shortly........
Personally I can't see it going to the air filter as this would cause a kind of vacuum leak situation, so I asked in the VZi tech section (I hope that's ok). http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?p=10280778#post10280778
Is it? not questioning you're post @zed ...just seem to remember mine went up to the vac switch on the air cleaner....it was a long time ago though apologies if I was wrong Hang on...you're right...I thought you were pointing to the pipe in front, not the one at the back.
I could have worded that better. I meant the system as a whole with the thermostatic switch and the flap is blind so doesn't continually suck air through upsetting the mixture.
think we're at cross purposes here looks like there's two spigots sticking out of the manifold in the pic. (and a big fat finger pointing indiscriminately in their direction) The front spigot with the pipe on it....That's for the air cleaner vac switch? The rear one with no pipe on it....that's blanked?
You're right of course. Cancel (nearly) all the above, lightening the pic reveals the fat finger pointing directly at the servo vacuum connection.
The appliance of science Anyway @icepug ...next time you want any advice, for pity's sake Man...use a slower shutter speed, or enlist the help of a small child to do you're pointing for you
If you ask on VZi, they'll just call you a b*stard three posts in, then start talking about their knobs...
