Constructive. She manages to upset herself so no help needed there. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
I lost a lot of sleep and despite it being 30 years ago, I don't feel like I ever recovered. Pesky kids. Sleep when you can.
Congratulations! my advice would be to bottle feed if you can. My missus couldnt breast feed due to medication and one of the best parts when James was wee was being able to feed him. The sound of a baby going hammer and tongs at a bottle at 3am is lovely and then the look on their face when they slip in to a milk coma is just priceless. also, you already know everything you need to know. You just won’t know you know it until you need to do it. They’re people, not aliens. They need food, water, warmth and love, make sure they’ve got those 4 and you can’t go wrong.
Breast feeding is going quite well to be fair, we are also bottle feeding at night. The fridge is currently a milk bank Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
An observation made my parents as they move along the parenting timeline is - your first child, you worry about everything, are they putting on weight, what’s this rash, why aren’t they trying to start to crawl.... second child - you chill out a bit, and recognise when there is something to worry about. (we stopped at 2!!) third child - ‘where did I leave the baby’ they are pretty robust....
I tried asking during labour if she really wants a second. She still say yes. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
Seem to remember a ex PM leaving a child in a pub. Mrs C once went to pick our daughter up from a party and came back without her
Ah, that reminds me. Don’t unplug the extension leaves serving the second freezer which is home to the frozen expressed milk, thus wasting about 6 weeks worth.... That was not a happy day!
