Chris, that looks just about right IMO... any more pics?

  2. Chris, are they wound all the way down or do you still have some more to go?

    Thanks

  3. Sorry I dont have any more pics at the moment as cant get it out the garage as my dads prototype bay is in the way. But hoping to get it out this weekend so will put a full length photo on this thread.

Yeah I still have about an inch left to go down if need be, but im happy with where its sitting.

  4. did you manage to grab any more pictures Chris?

    cheers :D

  5. Sorry, still cant get the van out of the garage. My dads prototype aint feeling very well at the moment. I think its just jealous that the Late Bay has stolen his space :)

  6. Lazy Andy brucieboy I eventually got it out of the garage today. Its had a full 4 inch drop all round, the rear was done just by moving the splines.

  7. nice one Chris cheers! is that with standard shocks on the front and rear?

    :D

  8. I'm still using the standard shocks on the rear but the front shocks are replaced by the coil overs in the kit.

  9. That Bus is giving me strange feelings in the groinal area.

  10. Anymore news on these?

  11. How come the wheels sits so different from one bus to another ? all the way back in the arch to all the way in the front ?

  12. Haven't posted for an age due to house move and beavering away on the lower 3" of my sliding door. However, having spotted this deal I am sorely tempted especially if you hit the 20% discount mark. I'm going to Volksworld next month and if Red9design are there I'm going to give their products a damn good looking at! In my new place I have a garage and I drove my van in on steel wheels without tyres for the winter. I reckon this equates to a 3 or 4" drop and if this kit does what it says on the tin I could drive my van in and out every day and have a lot less rust popping up, As my wife would call it thats spend to save!
Quick question though, what does everyone think is the best answer for the back? I plan the 2-4" drop so is that a couple of splines down or do we have a good source for adjustable spring plates?

  13. Has this group purchase died a death??

  14. Hey buddy, im not sure we'll hit 20% but may leave it open for a while longer, i have the back dropped a spline i recon, but i have 3.5 inch horse shoes fir the rear, do recon i need a 4.5 inch drop on the front, but fear ill need to buy new shocks too so im debating whether to get the beam looked at for beam adjusters, not sure what would be best

  15. Just like to say I had the coil over setup on for just over a year and it was spot on good ride quality etc no problems and upgraded to the twin wishbone setup which is a different league all together modern car handling and real steering well worth the money save up for one instead of doing what I did tried adjusters they failed tried all sorts of shocks etc then went for coil over red9 which was good compared to adjusters but twin wishbone all the way save your pennies up and get the best and get it right first time

  16. Any updates on the group buy??

  17. hi Jimmy,

unfortunately I dont think there will be anything Red9 will be willing to do with the amount of people interested as the discount in the first place was quite small, I will ring them and double check but I am having to spend my money on other stuff before I can lower it unfortunately so I'll have to count myself out, but I will tally up what everyone wants and ring them and inquire on what discount we're entitled to.

    cheers guys!

    B

  18. Cheers fella. My missus isn't liking the idea of £1800 front beam so every lol discount helps lol

  19. is this still happening???? i'm toying with the idea of buying & fitting the 4"-5 1/2" coilovers to my bus.
