    Cat #2 brought it in yesterday, popped it back and cat #3 carried it back later.

    I know haters will hate but it’s about compassion to a living thing.

    Hand feeding and keeping it warm and it’s gaining strength and opened eyes briefly this afternoon

    Looks like a rat to me. Be careful when it’s recuperated a bit. I’ve been bitten twice by rats whilst saving them from my cat :eek: . Even when they’ve played dead! Mice, voles and shrews will generally sit nice and quietly once you’ve got them in your hands.

    I sometimes put rodents taken off my cat in a Tupperware with some food to give them strength before they go out again:)

    Moles have really big front 'hands' and don't really have eyes...
    Looks like a Siberian hamster to me.
