    White.

I had a bus that was blue inside and I hated it. When you wake up in a blue bus it's cold and depressing. Green? Not sure.
White leaves you free to use warm colours inside. Green maybe won't. :)

  6. Great thanks Chris....

Ultimately I guess the decision will come down to the missus! the more she likes it the more weeekends away in the van i get!

  8. I have had a chat with the wife and it looks like it's going to be white inside the van.

L90D pastel white is the colour VW used. Don't get a pure white it'll look to bright.

  12. Thanks Zed, I'll try and get that ordered tomorrow.

It's slowly coming along..... I took it to Tudor Morgan ( a recommendation from Chris Radioman) today and had the carb cleaned, new seals on the manifold and generally checking out in the engine as the timing was all over the shop & it drives 100% better.

I can't wait for the events to start this season & will be good to meet some of you all

  13. Got my paint sorted, just need to get all of the prep finished this weekend

  14. After 10 days away and the freezing cold weather I haven't done much recently but this weekend i'll be spending a full weekend on the bus to get the interior sprayed and prep'd ready for Matty in a few weeks time to sort the mess that is the electrics!!

Scott @ SJH is in the process of building the kitchen too, so hopefully within the next month the bus will progress somewhat.

  15. I'm looking to pick up some marine ply for the floor of the camper.
Does anyone have a recommendation of thickness of the ply flooring?

  16. Seems like the general recommendation is to use 6mm for the slightly lower bit with a layer of 9mm on top of that. I just did this last night and it seems to work well. I bought a couple of 2400x1220 sheets and that was just right - not much wastage.

  17. Great thanks popester63 - Where did you get the ply from? looking around hardware shops I can't find any marine ply. B&Q?

  18. I picked mine up at Wickes - they are way better than B&Q if you have one local. Both sheets fitted it the van perfectly through the rear hatch to get them home.
