Well if you're gonna be a wuss and want to sleep then it may take a bit longer, even longer still if you're eating meals. Man up Man you've got over 120 hours till the weekend's gone.

  5. And I have about 30 hours of work to do too!

I will be on it this weekend and Thurs/Fri night

K+ to you, and may your sandpaper never get clogged. ;D

  7. Braver man than me if you are tackling it this weekend

Mine is in a similar state and I nearly had frostbite after some fettling on Sunday.

    Good luck.

  8. Dont forget to clean down and degrease the panels before sanding otherwise you run the risk of pushing contaminants into the scratches in the paint and use etch primer on any bare metal areas

Best of luck with it dude and i look forward to seeing the pictures

  9.
  10. is it finished yet ;D

  11. i wish - it has been bloody freezing (literally) and I've only managed to get out to the van for 20minute sessions before having to go back indoors to defrost.

Hope to have the inside sanded down & primed by 2 weeks time - dependent on weather!!

  13. Got a busy day lined up for tomorrow....

Sanding down all of the interior, then cleaning it all out before getting the etch primer on.
Also planning to put some new fuel pipe in (but might need ChrisRadioMan to help with that part)
Waxoyl the inside of all of the doors

I can't see a face mask or Paradox's oil filled radiator in your stash! I think you're gonna need both, plus plenty of coffee.

  15. The mask is in the van with the electric radiator & ready to go......

I have some strong coffee to wake me up early doors & keep me sane all day!! I think it's going to be a long day, but will look great once it's done.

Have a good day then. Hope it comes off nice and easy. :)

  17. Thanks Sandybay

I can't see it coming off that easily but with a little heat & some serious elbow grease surely anything is possible.

My plan is to get the interior prep'd by 2 weeks time, then sprayed followed by getting the sound deadening down & marine ply floorboard all by the middle of March ready for Dubaid.

I'd ideally wanted the interior also fitted by that point but think i am pushing it a bit (and the weather has set me back somewhat!)
so whilst the van is empty i'm going to get a good finish on it. Hopefully the interior will all be complete by the time the main camping season approaches.

  18. Gud luck tommorow dude
