No it isn’t, that’s more than a Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0, Porsche Macan S 3.0 V6 Twin Turbo and much more than a Volkswagen Touareg 4.2 V8.
Nope, dodgy rolling road but if you’re happy with the engine that’s all that matters - and you have an impressive read out to boast about.
Yeah, that torque figure is way off... normally torque with these engines is around 20 more than the bhp figure... so 100bhp would be 120ft/lbs of torque
That’s all that matters. A rolling road is an excellent tool to tune engines and to compare the same engine before and after modifications but to measure power there are too many variables and extrapolations for the numbers to be meaningful.
I think the point is to leave with jets that will neither kill your engine or waste petrol. Within that if you tell him you'll be thrashing about or driving up and down mountains he'd err on the rich side and if you complained of poor mpg and said you drove like a grandad he'd err on the leaner side. Then you leave secure in that knowledge. If you said mpg and later decide to thrash it's easy enough to change yourself, but now you have the safe numbers so it's no longer stabbing in the dark.
Yes he did ask some questions like that and I told him the same as Paul. Pulling power and drive ability. He said the idle jet needs increasing to .5 but the everything else was fine. This is old jet
It's certainly much smoother but also I noticed a massive difference with the 123 over the accuspark (which you kinda expect). Haven't noticed it being quieter though
