  9. I don't believe that, I've seen the 'is it here yet' posts!

    I have news! It is on the ship, leaving Oakland tomorrow, due into Southampton by 15 November! I've already started tracking the ship, but moored blob isn't particularly exciting to watch...

    I believe it's the done thing in the world of salty seamates to head out from port, then get completely arseholed for a few days, before continuing on as if nothing had happened. My cousin was left in charge of a ship in these circumstances, he was 15 and had just signed on, he'd never been to sea before and never went again.
